Prospective PhD students.
The Mechanical Engineering Department at NAU offers a PhD program in Mechanical Engineering and an interdisciplinary PhD program in Bioengineering (in collaboration with the Biology Department). Support includes RA funding and the Presidential Fellowship (supplemental funding and extra stipend).

Prospective MS students.
Students interested in Mechanical Engineering MS degree (with thesis) are encouraged to apply. Most MS students are not funded theses days (at many universities), and therefore MS applicants need to be able to self-fund their studies. However, occasionally funding for highly competitive and top MS students might become available (mostly partial funding).
